D'Melis Mead
D’Melis has over twenty five years in Vallbona de Anoia (Barcelona – Catalonia – Spain) producing products derive from the honey, such as pâté of mead, vinegar of mead (melagre) and different types of mead, an ancient product that is considered as the first fermented drink, obtained from the fermentation of honey, water and pollen. Their products are of high quality and D’Melis has been recognized with numerous awards, such as those given in the International Fair held in Beekeeping Pastrana annually and has appeared in several news reports and TV channels, for example on TV1, TV2, TV3 and Tele Madrid and important newspapers such as La Vanguardia, ABC, Avui or Diario 16, as well as magazines of wine and food.
